I looked at a 07 with 5AT on Monday when my 04 was in the shop. The new car was equipped as follows:
07 S with 5AT
Liquid Plat/Graph
Premium Package
Navigation
Tech Package
Cargo net
Sticker price of $39,8XX
Car had just over 1,000 miles on it so I do not know if it was used a demo but did notice that it was originally delivered to an Infiniti dealer in Memphis (500 miles away.)
I was dealing with the sales manager who knows me and handled my purchase of my 04 back in 11/03.
Basically, he was willing to offer me the car for $37,500 or about $1,300 over invoice and $2,300 under MSRP. I thought this was alittle high based on the added mileage (I picked up my 04 with 7 miles on it.)
As the car is not exactly what I want, I might be ordering.

Hartford, CT area:
Quirk Infiniti in Quincy, MA is changing today to a Subaru dealership. Last week they offered me $3000 off MSRP, no questions asked for anything on their lot (didn't have exactly what I wanted though). I opted to use their price to leverage my local Hartford, CT dealer and get exactly the car I wanted (Slate Blue/Stone G35x w/Prem, Sirius, Spash, Cargo net) at $2000 below MSRP. I was willing to pay a little extra for my exact car and I also was unsure about buying from a dealership that was going under.
Quirk also wouldn't take my Capital One Blank Check (offered me a higher interest rate from their lenders) and said they would have to deliver the car to me in a Connecticut DMV parking lot where I would have to pay for the registration and CT taxes out of pocket.
When I called them back to say no thanks for the deal, they offered to go lower on the price, I didn't bite because of the inconveniences mentioned above.
I love my new G35x from Harte Infiniti and wouldn't change my decision to buy from them, top notch sales and service staff! Worth the little extra money.

New Member!.
cheers everyone!
over the past day Ive pretty much combed through all the posts on this thread. I cant begin to tell you how helpful they have been. I currently have a 04 g35x with NAV and premuim package, but im ready to take the leap and get the new o7 sport. ive emailed multiple dealers in the phoenix area and this is the best quote ive recieved. it seems to be leaps and bounds above what most people have been quoted. so if you guys could, throw out some advice and let me know where to go from here.
thx in advance.
Pete

Also in the phx area. I have also been checking out sport 6mts. Haven't been able to get much under MSRP in my initial emails back and forth. I think they are still very popular in the area.

Email & the Internet are great for research, but a dealership is likely to offer their best price when you are there to negotiate in person. The possible sale is going to be taken much more seriously, & the salesman is going to do whatever he can, to solidify the deal. Yes it is a more pressurized situation, but if you're not ready to buy at that moment, go already prepared with an excuse to bolt lol. At least you'll know if person to person, does net a better price. Odds are it will.

What do they have left on their lot? They took Infiniti off of their site already.
