Official 2007 Infiniti G35 Negotiated Deal Thread

GeeWizzard,
I picked up an Auto S with Premium and Sirius from Red Noland in Colorado Springs in January. I spoke to a lady named Connie at the end of November to beat the bushes a bit and said I would talk to them again Jan/Feb. When I called back in Jan they had put a car like the one we had talked about on their allocation just in case. When it arrived, I bought it for $2000 under MSRP and drove it back to New Mexico. The only problem is that they charge $300 document fee (no other protection package BS though). It was the best deal I could get in a thousand mile radius.

Just a helpful hint.....I think it's better if you guys post your negotiated deals in $XX over invoice or under MSRP. I noticed that some only list the final price. For other ppl, it doesn't say much because ppl will then have to figure out what the MSRP for the car with those options will be to figure what type of "deal" you got.

And, from the way it looks, I think that EVERYONE from this point on should be aiming for, at most, $1000 over invoice. It appears that it's pretty easily had with the least bit of negotiating.
I was able to get $1000 over invoice via email without setting foot at the dealership. I ended up with $500 over invoice within 2-3 minutes of negotiating. I may have gotten more off but I didn't have the time or energy.

Any Luck in Houston Area?
I have contacted 3 Infiniti dealers in the Houston area. When I make an initial offer of $2000 off MSRP the salesmen basically say no and want to cut off any more communications. It seems these cars are selling for MSRP or very close to MSRP here.
Anyone have any luck?

I can't believe how many dealerships are insisting they can't waive the ad fee. That is their cost of doing business... I wonder how many years after that sinks in with the buying public before they try to create a building fee, lot fee, non-sales staff fee, garage fee, energy to run the dealership fee, and toilet paper for the dealership restroom fee...
Also, don't forget invoice does not reflect dealer cost. If that were the case, Honda dealers are making a bigger profit on Odysseys than BMW dealers make on most, if not all their cars. Yeah, right.... I understand the German DM is high against the dollar; but they're already decontenting their cars compared to cars like the G.
It all comes down to supply, demand, and customer willingness to pay.
OK, enough of my rant...

My deal tonight.
Just completed this transaction a few hours ago:
07 G35S 5AT
Premium package
Cargo net
Liquid Platinum/Graphite
No trade in
$34,025 + tax (3% here in NC) - that's $2525 under invoice or $500 above, however you want to look at it
Lake Norman Infiniti
Only thing I had to negotiate out was the window etching and pinstripe removal (ewwwwwwwww ).
The sales manager kept telling me and my wife "We never sell these at these price, never" it reminded me of the Rick James skit on the Chappelle show "...but I put my feet up on his couch..."
Can't wait for the break in period to be over!!!
