Official 2007 Infiniti G35 Negotiated Deal Thread
#271
Don't want to brag but best deal seen on this thread
G35x sedan 2007 (splash guards, sunroof/moonroof, cargo net)
400 UNDER INVOICE = 3200 under MSRP
invoice at 32950
purchased at 32550
out the door 34760.
NO TRADE-IN. Bought in Northern Virginia area.
Where did I buy it? @ Tyson's Corner, VA Infiniti Dealership. Avoid Jim Coleman (Bethesda)/ (they are not good at pricing)
How did I make a deal like that? Cause i'm a beast. Psych. Um.. first day of February I went in and I shopped two dealers out, and they wanted to get a jump start on the month. Also, I had independent financing.
No the car was not a demo. Come on guys. I bought the car with 7 miles on it.
I'm wondering if anyone can beat 400 under INVOICE not MSRP.
Oh another tip, when you go to negotiate, tell them that you saw these cars selling for 600 under invoice online, and then meet at 500 under invoice. Nice right. I know, its true though, I got mine for 400 under invoice and I think if I tried hard enough, I could have gotten it to 600 under invoice. Anyway. Toodles.

VPP price
Ordered the car a week or so back, but it will be while before it shows up:
2007 G35x, with options F01 (Tech), P01 (Premimum), U01 (Nav) , B94 (Splash Guards) and N93 (Cargo Net). Colors are Lakeshore Slate/Stone/Washi.
MSRP $40,190
VPP price: $37,467.97
Interesting thing was that one dealer (Nalley Infiniti in Atlanta) didn't think that VPP-D applied to the G35 yet, but was still willing to give me that price. It sounds like you could ask for the VPP price there even if you aren't eligible.

Atlanta
140 miles on the car
There were very few Blue Slates available in the Atlanta area with Premium and Without Navigation.
Sirius, Premium Package, Cargo Net
Invoice was nearly 32,500
Doc Fees = 499
Price offered 33160 + Doc Fees + Free Splash Guards to be installed when available.
Total Price incluidig TTL(7% tax) and Doc fees = 36,000
One dealer offered 36,500 out the door which included a wood trim and tire package in lieu of Sirius. This deal was competitive with that although the 36,500 was just a first offer from the other dealer I did not buy from.
Another dealer in atlanta was talking about 37,500 out the door and hinted they could bring it down to a few hundred less than 37,000 for a similar car with a tire package in lieu of Sirius. This was more than 3 other dealers I talked to. So I did not even bother getting him to match which he probably would have. I acutally would have slightly preferred the tire package over Sirius. But the price difference was too much. Every other dealer said I would have to wait anywhere from a two weeks to 3 months for a Blue Slate with my specs.
I did not want to wait three months for the car. I probably paid a few hundred more than I wanted to considering the mileage on the car and it was on the lot for more than a month despite scarcity of Blue Slates. But if I waited 3 months for a factory order, thaat is close to 500-600 worth of depreciation on this model for waiting thaat long and i choose to sell it in 4 or 5 years.
Also there was a clear bra on the front portion of the hood. THe dealer agrees to remove it within 12 months if I so desire and they wll be responsible for any damage. Got that in writing.
Two Free Oil Changes upfront. Also one Free 33,750 Service and one free 62,250 service as long as I do most of the recommended services at the dealer.
The dealer and salesguy were friendly.

One of the dealers in SD told me they still aren't negotiating off MSRP, so I went elsewhere.
Now I'm being offered $2340 off of MSRP ($37,500) on a Sport Blue Slate w/Graphite Auto w/Premium, Nav, Tech, and Splash Guards from a differnt dealer.....
AND $150 over Invoice ($46,537) on an 07 M35 Sport with Advanced Tech, Spoiler, and Splash Guards.
Good deals? So now I can't decide...which one?! The lease deals on the M are a lot better. So much so, that the monthly payments come out to be almost the same with the same amount of money down! What to do....Ahhhhhh!

I've been trolling these forums for quite a while. All the information I've read from here has been great. So I finally went to a dealership (Infiniti of Pleasanton, CA - top notch place and people) today and put down a $500 refundable deposit for a 2007 G35 Sport, Blue Slate, Graphite interior, Premium, and Navi. The price was $36,000, which is $2,600 below MSRP or $665 above invoice.
I think I got a fairly good deal. Anyone beg to differ? My car won't be delivered until sometime in April, so I have plenty of time to change my mind.

Picked mine up last night!
Just picked up mine last night after waiting so long and got a GREAT deal:
Infiniti 2007 G35X Sedan
Ivory Pearl/Wheat/Aluminum
Prem/Nav/Tech
$38,750 OTD (can't remember the exact price before tax & tags, but I believe it was roughly $100-150 above invoice!)
No trade-in, bought it in Maryland.
I'll be posting pictures soon
