My gas mileage was about 15 when I got it. It eventually reached about 22. It is back down to 14 so I think the computer has something to do with this. Maybe a preprogrammed break in period.

holy cow.

i thought mine was bad at 18! makes you wonder how accurate the display computer really is. i'm going to start logging miles and fill volume at the pump to get some concrete numbers.

Can you describe exactly how your car was acting before it was fixed?
Was yours "bucking" when pulling off slowly after driving about a mile from a cold start? Then driving ok once the engine warmed up? What's consult?
My dealer said they did a consult on mine and it did not post any codes?

consult is the nissan diagnostic tool that reads ECM error codes, among many other things.

Symptoms:

In the mid 70s here in the morning. Typically humid. Start car, let run about 30-60 seconds, leave my neighborhood and drive about 20-25 mph. About 1/2 mile, car has obvious hesitation and stumbling. Increased throttle worsens symptoms. If rev in neutral, same. Clears up in another 1/2 mile or so, then drive fine, no problem.

Careful assuming that "codes" will tell you anything about your problem. Codes only tell you what sensors are saying. If there is no sensor to monitor where/what the problem is, then no codes.

Infiniti is aware of this problem. Keep in mind that they paid for a tech to go from Tennessee to Maryland just for my car.

Okay.. so I have the same issue I have taken my car to the dealership 3 times for this problem and they said they can replicate the problem. They want me to come in and do a test drive with them before they admit that there is a problem with my car. I was in the dealership 2 days ago for this problem and an oil change, while i was there a tech said that he heard of the same issue at another dealership. They said "there was no fix at this time" and told me to pick my car up..

Do you guys have any contacts that my dealership can talk to so that they can understand the problem? The manager says there is not a known issue on their "tech hotline"

The dealer is 40 miles from me and i'm tired of wasting my time on this.

Help!

Okay... so I just got a call back from the service department and they said another customer came in today with the same complaint. He now tells me that Infiniti will have a service bulletin about this problem in the future but there is no given date. I am wondering if he’s telling stories or if they have really contacted Infiniti yesterday when I brought my car in.

Would the car qualify as a lemon? What would you do?

They have a certain number of opportunities to correct the problem unsuccessfully before lemon law impacts.

I would let them try and fix it. Others have and it's been successful.

Well they replicated my problem last week. They have not decided what they are going to do about it yet. They have had the car since last Thursday.

They called me this morning to tell me my wheels had be stolen off the car at the dealership. They promised to keep it locked in the garage at night.
They didn't.

Maybe a mechanic took them! What did they crooks do, leave the car on bricks? Make sure there is nothing broken down there!
