Anything that has been mentioned about the 3.7 going into the Sedan has been rumors and nothing more. Maybe they will in 09, but who knows.

For that matter, we can feed the rumor mill even more and hope that there will be a variation of the GTR manumatic transmission. But most likely the next generation FX and updated M will come out with it first.

My friend has a Sub Legacy GT with lower profile tires. I told him the same thing but he gets around like a champ. Never had a problem. Not sure if they are "summer only" though, they may just be lower profile all seasons.

I can't believe they didn't upgrade the sedan with the more refined transmisison from the G37. I have to believe that they will but it's just not mentioned there (although that wouldn't make much marketing sense).

i was considering a 2007 g35x in the fall, but i think i'll have to go with a 2008. so does this mean paddle shifters on the g35xs? and i'm really looking forward to excellent ipod integration.

I would imgine Sept. timeframe.

I still prefer RWD over AWD, It is not that big of deal to drive a RWD car in winter with TC and winter tires.

I would not change my choice even if it the AWD drive sport model was out for 07.

While the wheel and suspension setups I'm not too worried about (I would've picked different combos anyway)

I'm a litte choked about:
- All-new Sport Package available for G35x AWD model
- Revised Technology and Navigation Packages
- Infiniti iPod Interface

Although I probably don't need to be excited about flappy paddle shifters, the revised Tech and Nav is kind of grumbling. I wonder if the fixes are retro compatible?.

I Ipod interface is kind of meh I suppose.

i thought so too, but "feng" from bose told me that it's not... it's mostly phasing and EQ tricks, rather than honest-to-god time delay (which made me feel a lot better about buying the 07... if the 08 had time delay i would have been PIIIIIISSSSSED)

hold your horses. they may have. it's usually not the type of thing you put in a press release or brochure while the previous model year is still on the shelves:

"oh yeah, buying public, we fixed the ****ty transmission in the 07. but please buy it anyway!!"

LOL, you've definitely got a point. I read somewhere (and unfortunately I can't remember where) that the 08 Sedan's 6MT will be revised to reduced the NVH. I'd put money on the 08 Sedan sharing the same 6MT as the G37.

I'm pretty sure this is true. I think I read that somewhere. Needless to say, I wouldn't bet you money on it.

From the June issue of Automobile Magazine:

"Nissan engineers worked to reduce NVH and have also modified the clutch engagement. Both changes will be shared with the sedan starting in 2008"
