That makes a lot of sense

Now if they will only have an option for non staggarded tires on the "Journey Sport". I like the options on the sports all except for that. I don't really care if there is / is not a s badge, although I hear the badge itself adds some HP

i personally think it sux that you have to have Sat Radio standard on the 08 model - now you are stuck with that hideous wing on the roof that muddies up the clean lines of the G.

on the other hand, G35XS sounds like the shizzle (too bad it sounds like not XS 6MT). right now, I have an 89 325iX AWD as my 3rd "winter vehicle." would love to have an XS as my winter ride, and my 07 6MT as my summer car. probably a little cost prohibitive, however!

Anyone heard a street date for these yet? When did the 07's arrive? Our 2004 G35 lease is up in October and I'm hoping the 08's will have streeted by then.

When I was picking up my 07 G35S my salesman informed me that the 08G35X with sport package will only be cosmetic. It won't have the sport tuned suspension, it won't have the big brakes, it won't have the summer tires and it won't come in an Auto.

Thank God I bought the 07 G35S.

Da mayor,

Any idea what comes with the 08 G35xS? Sport seat? Paddle shifter?
Pictures of the 18s? Price for the sport package?

Thanks

I know others may disagree but I like the red S next to the G35 emblem on the back of my 07G.

That's right. I just ordered the 2008 this week. You have to get the Journey and then add the sport package if you want an automatic.

I decided it wasn't worth it to wait for the 08's, i ordered a 07 G35x/Prep/Navi/Tech a week and a half ago, it arrived at the dealer from a trade late friday night and i'm picking it up once its prepped monday or tuesday Once the 08's come out, the xS won't be available till probably november and for the minor differences, its not worth it paying higher prices and interest rates for an 08.

too many thoughts here, in Canada no sport auto or any way to get there with options. if you want the sport stuff, you have to go manual... Hopefully they will bring it back for 09

the sport AWD will come with an auto and paddles, but not the suspension, brakes, tires, diff etc...

i just picked up an ordering outline sheet from the dealer last week. the CDN sport models are only available in an awd automatic(18 inch sport wheels 225/50/18 all season tires all around, dosn't have the larger breaks, paddle shifters) and a M6 sport(same as the 07 sports)...

i'm kind of dissapointed that you can't get a RWD sport automatic anymore... hopefully that chages for 09.
