Did you have any fees, taxes on top of that - destination, doc, title, reg, etc.....???

Looks like a good number.

34,700 was the cost of the car. Sales tax was not included. 6.75% is my sales tax so total cost out the door was 37,024 no other fees.

Hello I just register this forum. I am glad this forum exist.

I got quoted following. (Sorry I don't have exact number with me. But what I remember is very close)

2008 G35 Journey Ivory/Stone
Premium Package
Navigation Package

Quoted price : $34,900
Out of lot : $37,900

I got this through the Costco program. Dealer told me I get invoice plus $500.

Is this good price?

skfnxh...Depending on what market you're in you can probably do better than that deal. I would say that at or below invoice is definitely possible in today's market. I recommend getting multiple dealer quotes (even use out of state) to play off each other. This is probably the best way to negotiate.

lol i say, if you left the dealership happy with the price u paid for the car then it's all good. I mean shoot I paid 400 over invoice, but im not goin to cry about 500-1000 when the total price of the car is around 40'gs.. LOL

I agree...it depends on where you live. California guys seem to get invoice pretty easy. I had to work hard to get $700 over invoice in Houston.

What difference does it make whether the car is $20K or $40K? It's still an extra $500-$1000 in the dealer's pocket rather than your own.
