I remember we talked about this in this forum a while back... but I don't think anyone actually tried this yet.

I have plans on getting the shift **** from the 08 M45 Sport, but am not 100% about fitment yet. I originally was going to do this over the summer, but I like the shift **** from the 08 M45 Sport much better than the previous year.......and well the 08s just started arriving not too long ago. I'll just wait until spring now.

I asked my parts guy at IofDenver this morning- no dice, he said it absolutely won't fit. I take that to mean there's going to need to be some serious modification to make it work.

This is the shift **** from the 08 M45 Sport, which is different than the previous M. The white stitching on the shift **** would match the white stitching on the G35S seats and steering wheel really well IMO.

I completely understand. I'd love to have the m shifter in my G, if anyone figures out how to make it work. I'm just not that adventurous, nor do I have the time.

This should be simpe enough... find someone with an M and have them take it off and see if it's the same clip setup that the G has.

Let me go see who we can find with one...

Not sure about in the US, but my dealer quoted me $165 CDN for the 08 M45 Sport shift ****.

I am only interested in the shift **** from the 08 M, however if you like the shift **** from the previous M's, check at some of your local junkyards. You might be able to pick one up cheap.
