will the m45s shift knob fit on the 07 g35s
I just looked at an M and G side by side...
Looks like the trim piece that snaps into the bottom of the G shift **** is a different shape than the M piece...
So, in order for it to work, a new boot w/ trim piece is going to be needed...
The only way to get the boot / trim piece is with the complete indicator assembly...
the indicator assembly is not going to fit into the new G...
Sorry it does not look like it is going to work...

It looks like the **** its self will go onto the shaft, but the boot will not attach...
If you look at your stock ****, the shift boot is attached to the bottom of the shift ****...
If you pull down on the ****, you will see how the boot / **** is seperate and you gain access to the pin to pull off the ****...

Well is it possible to get the little trim piece for the M **** and attach that to the G35 boot leather? Then itll snap right on. We need to think outside the box here now whenever I look at my **** it looks ugly to me. I need me some M ****.

Aha but that DOSENT answer my question as well as you thinki t does Jason. Im not talking about replacing the indicator assembly. Im talking about removing the trim piece from the M boot and attaching it to the G boot. Probably would cost too much but could it be done is the question.

The TRIM piece is not available on its own.
In order to get the TRIM Piece you would have to purchase the INDICATOR ASSEMBLY.
Then take the TRIM piece to an apholstry shop to get onto the leather boot of the G indicator (also only available with the indicator assembly).
So basically what you are saying can be summed up with this word "yes". As in yes the piece can be attached to the G boot, just takes a lot more work. How much is the assembly?

Do you take paypal?
Yes I do take paypal...
The best thing to do will be to remove the shifter boot and get it onto the G shift indicator... The M indicator is larger so the boot will have to be fitted to the G...
Viguera: If you want to be the first to try / modify the parts needed PM me and I will try to work something out for you...

But I'm sure it works like this: get stuff from M, put it on the G.
There's your write-up.
