I saw this and called to have it done. I was told by Tustin Infiniti they didn't have the parts and would call in 4 days when they were in. 2 days later I was driving and over the span of about 20 mins it got lighter and lighter (clutch to the floor to get the shift and barely lifted up) and then the clutch when completely to the floor.
After the recall was finished the clutch seems MUCH for forgiving but not nearly as sporty. I just got it back today, so verdict is still out if I like it a little more forgiving.

In any case, Brian Reidy (should any of you go there) is very courteous and professional -- as mentioned before in the Nor Cal forums. Hopefully, they'll get the parts the end of this week (but I'm going snowboarding) or early next week.
I want to sneak in the 045 ECU update, too.

You would think that if your customer did not reschedule the appointment, then they haven't been notified of the parts not coming in.

Anyone have good/bad experiences with either?

There are mixed reviews about Peninsula. I loved Serramonte (where I bought my G), but it closed. Peninsula has been good to me so far. I would only go there for service if it's more convenient for you than Frontier. I haven't heard GREAT things about Frontier yet. If you do go there, talk to Brian Reidy in Service, and tell him Gary L sent ya. Make sure they have enough of the clutch parts, though. It might take one full day, he said, so you'll get a courtesy car or rental overnight.
KulG35: A lot of us had issues with the passenger heated seat. Low would only turn the back warmer on, and high would only turn the seat warmer on. There are also complaints about the seat warmers generally taking a long time. I don't know if they fixed my driver side, too, but now, everything seems to warm up pretty well -- in about 5 minutes.

Anybody else feel that their shift action is harder after this work? I spent an hour today at the dealer and 3 techs. drove the car and said it was fine...
They also said there is nothing that can be adjusted. Weird. I am sure that the shift action has gotten harder - especially gears 5/6.
Anyways, it sucks that I have to go in for a recall and now there is this change. I guess I just have to get used to this.

Nashville Infiniti did my clutch recall a week ago Tuesday. I have noticed better clutch-to-throttle action in 1st and 2nd gear with decreased jerkiness on take off. However, I too have noticed that shifting to and between 5th and 6th gears are harder- you have to throw the shifter with more pressure on the left side vs. the right- this seems to work better although 5th and 6th are not as smooth as before the clutch/slave was replaced.

clutch feels smoother, engagement point more forgiving. harder to stall now. shifter feels the same.
hard to believe the slave cylinder can make such a big difference. my understanding is that nissan clutch (i think outsourced to aisin?) have always had a high and short engagement point, dating back to mid-90s maximas (at least).

They tested my car during a cold start this morning and found no problems, so they didn't upgrade my ECU to v045. And they lost both my seat settings. The auto up-down windows were an easy fix on my part.
So glad to be back in my 6MT, because the non-sport 5AT loaner was a PITA to drive. It surged so quickly with just a light tap of the throttle. I noticed the cold-engine-start idle problem on the loaner and told the Service Mgr about it. I guess they don't care too much about their courtesy fleet.
