ventilated seats would be awesome, so would the 7 sp auto and bigger/better engine,

but either case, i'm happy with mine, don't think i could've waited that long, wanted an 07, but held out till i got 08 (for the same invoice price of 07), but to wait for this would be just too long...

maybe if they come up with the vr38tt he he, then i'd consider...

Safety:
"In the event of a collision, a small pyrotechnic charge raises the trailing edge of the bonnet close the lower edge of the windscreen. This creates a larger buffer between the bonnet and the ‘hard points’ of top of the engine, providing a more yielding surface and helping to reduce potential injuries."

Please tell me we're not driving around with pipe bombs under the hood.

Nice evolution of the G. I certainly have no regrets with my '07. Maybe pickup a '10 or '11 as a replacement for my Maxima in a few years. I try to keep cars for at least 10 years unless they become a money pit.

"Butt coolers" best feature ever for a car...specially if you are a fat *** who lives in PR like me...

Trading in my 07 if the 09 comes with butt coolers, 4 pots' and 19" wheels...

The 5-speed unit has gotten nothing but high praise, but I am really happy that Infiniti is finally getting a 7-speed unit.

It's about time...

Same here. With all the competition that will be available in 09, the G35 needs these added bits to maintain it's niche, or edge in the marketplace.

I think the 2009 model for the g sedan is going to get upgraded regardless and i doubt that they would lower the hp if the g37 sedan was to come to the US as a 2009 model.

This is a must get thou...I've been waiting on this car for a long time.

All this buzz about the 2009 G35 makes me appreciate my 2008 more. It is a great car, and I am still learning and appreciating more every day. It way exceeded my expectations. The soon to be new model is very compelling but not gotta have it tomorrow compelling when you have an awesome 2008.

The best part of it all is the 7 speed. I mean, how many times am I on the highway at 80, and see my mileage going to **** as soon as i accelerate to pass someone quicker. I swear, I say to myself, "Just one more gear please" at least 4 to 5 times a week. I cant wait. I knew there was a reason i took a 24 month lease. The engine is not nearly as important as this transmission. The extra 20 or so HP will be partially, if not mostly, negated by the extra weight in that motor. Of course it will be faster, but nothing a few bolt ons couldnt compensate for. If the bolt ons ever get efficient enough. *SIGH*

sad thing is that Europe will likely be able to choose 6 speed manual with AWD. That is about the only thing missing from making my G35x perfect.

Seriously, don't be upset bro.

The 2009 people will be upset with the 2010 guys because they Hybrid-Power.

The 2010 people will be upset with the 2011 guys because they get Twin-Turbo power.

The 2011 people will be upset with the 2012 guys because they get Nuclear Power, 10 gears, a 10-inch nav screen, and 100 MPG.

Just do this and enjoy.
