If its a 2009 model, it should technically be coming out this Fall.

It's kinda funny how when the 07 G35 came out, we said the G37 sedan was coming soon, and they said, no.
Should be sweet, I always felt the G could use a little more power!
I like the wheels and brakes too, may have to trade up!

One salesman muttered to me that I could not get a fully optioned Desert Platinum G35S because there is a "stop order" on 08 models. BS?
I think BS. I am sure some of our dealer friends here will respond. It is two months into the calendar year and the sedans are selling, so a stop production would make no sense. Any dealer sales rep who says there is no more being made because a new model is coming is not on commission or on food stamps. If the new '08 cars are not selling, then adding a more expensive model with a new engine (with less torque) won't help. I think this is wishful thinking for those not ready to pull the trigger today.

man that is pretty nice. but i think what i end up doing to my 07 will not make it that "obsolete" when this one comes out.

i am with dude that wants to justify picking up a gtr. I just need to advance a few levels at work and my income will be right on par to pick up a gtr.

to bad an oil crisis may be within a decade away. maybe i should be looking for a fuel cell vehicle? lol

Just buy now, the '07-'08 G35 is not going to become obsolete, and it's a fantastic car, geez!

Exactly! They want to reduce their lot inventory first!

If they going to detune the 3.7 then I guess there's no point of replacing the existing engine, but the 7-speed sounds pretty good.
