Not pissed about the g
Love the G, will miss her as she goes, just dont like the danger of playing around w/ a 160gig (filled ipod) when i am at the wheel of a 306 monster. Yes, the V8 420 monster has a full ipod set up. Bmw was the first to have it. Oh, and for the guy who said i am pissed about my boy not cutting me a check. It went down today. He got a great deal on a very nice ivory p 07 g35s nav, tech, prem. His price? a six pack of beer. I made partner today, and gave him the car for free.

i will say, at first, i was not upset about it. I have many cd's, and most of them purchased. But, Some cds, contain hundreds of songs, were given to me from sources unknown. I really am stuck on them in a way.
But, over the past few months, I am really seeing the benefit of containing all of that music in one small package. And, to have that(breifcase of a cd notebook) in one easy to control package, sounds really nice. I would like to see a solution for 07(non nav) guys. i most likely would upgrade mine and buy a high capacity ipod/mp3 device to carry everything accumulated thusfar.
On a side note, there is a guy at my gym, that actually believes in using only casettes. He uses the "high quality" metal film casettes and has a all of his music on them. He recently picked up an 04 cobra mustang. and installed a, you guessed it, high quality cassette player. He honestly feels there is no reason to get cd's or digital music if they sound the same(to him-hard of hearing thanks to the same factory job i am at-nissan).
I suggested a solution, to record and transfer his music on computer and convert to either cd or digital. In response, he said, "to much trouble."
The only relevance to the main story is, i have a lot of money and time in my cd's. I see no difference in sound quality. So, i might not be that affected, about the situation.
But, since i was raised in the, up and coming, digital changes of the nineties and early millenium. I know the advantages to having all my music in digital form. Maybe this helps some, but it also shows the resistance from others. take what you will.
