Quote: Last night after returning from a restaurant my wife noticed a large piece of rubber hanging from the drivers side of the sunroof on my 07 G35x. I reached up and pulled it away from the sunroof. It is kind of an accordian shaped piece I assume is used to hide the track or motor mechanism. I couldn't really tell how to put it back so I looked at the passenger side and didn't see another one like it. What's going on here?
Warranty Issue; any dealer will be happy to fix it for you.

Quote: you can always slide it back into place yourself until you decide to visit the dealer. no need to let it hang until then. it's a super quick fix.
Agreed....that's what I did. It wasn't worth the hastle for me to book an appontment for little crap like this. I fixed it and it has never come off again.

Quote: I put mine back up a couple times, and it would come off again after a while. I eventually pulled it off and chucked it in the trunk. I let the Dealer glue it back on at my nxt service.
My dealer says Infiniti policy is to put it back and then if it comes off a second time to replace it. I never heard of anything more assenine! Anyway, one of mine is missing (must have been sucked out the sunroof) and the dangling one was torn so, either way, they ordered two to replace.
