Unhappy $4.20/gallon <just shed a tear>

I just filled up today in Irvine and payed $4.20/gallon. My tank cost me $74!

What is crazy is, summer hasn't even started yet. Traditionally gas prices rise in the summer. Could we see $4.50 or even $5.00 a gallon before year end?

I've heard 4.50 was a possibility by the end of Summer.

I paid $2.299 yesterday when I filled up my G. I feel your pain. I need to get a Prius or Focus for everyday commuting. Now I wish I didn't sell my Focus.

What? $2.29 a gallon and you're complaining?!

That's just wrong... wait... are you sure it's 2.29?

Exactly. Hopefully we will see a change soon - until then I'm going to have to keep it out of DS mode.

go to costco, they're usually cheaper

hmm, irvine, cheap gas stations off the top of my head are:
circle k on alton and jeffrey
shell next to costco on barranca and technology
arco (yes, they take credit cards, yay) on jeffrey and trabuco
otherwise, costco at irvine or tustin (district) is the cheapest bet around irvine

Is Costco gas as good as other gas (i.e. from Shell, Sunoco, Mobil, etc.). I seem to recall a friend used to go there and he said his car didn't run as well on Costco gas.
