Month that 2007 and 2008 came out?

In July go see your dealer... you might be surprised what he'll help you with to get into an 09. maybe extend+loaner or get you a little longer extension if your financing is through Infiniti.
When it gets closer check with the dealer... they might even tell you to rent a car and they'll take a few hundred off the price.
But honestly, if your going to lease again you are much better off getting an 08 around that time. the 09's won't be that much different and there will be a premium to lease it.
If Buying, I'm pretty sure you can order your new car in August or September for an October arrival.

I'm going to look at the Audi A5 and the C300 Sport 4Matic...
But in all likelihood I'll have another G35x.
I'd really like the 7AT though, assuming it comes in 2009. And there are a few other things I'm hoping they do better in 2009 - really minor stuff, like a reasonably useful low tire pressure system
But in reality what it is for me - is that I'd be willing to pay a little more for a 2009...
Although the VPP sytem likely won't be available... The dealer might do a LOT to keep me, as they would get the 2005 G35x which they could re-sell and make at least $2k off easily.

I doubt I'd get an A5...
Too pricey - not to mention hard to get... I haven't visited an Audi dealer yet but I know there has to be a line. The car just looks hot.
The MB, you lose a lot of HP, gain little in mileage... And overall just not the same value - plus it costs several grand more...
Plus with Infiniti I can get the VPP discount easily.
So I'll likely stick with a G35x - I'd just prefer the 7AT assuming they actually care enough to put it in the 2009.
Although to be honest - if the A5 was readily available - I just might bite.

the g37 sedan that already debuted it not even launching until october and slowly rolling out through april in europe
so i find it harder and harder to think that our 2009 is going to have any major changes, because if it did, it would be out well before the completion of the european launch that they have been touting
