OMG! - G37 ruined my dream!

I live in the Gulf and am really confused and irritated!! I was planning from a long time to purchase a G35, and now after the news about G37, I am screwed!!! I do not think I will be able to purchase the G37, since it will be alomst $5-7K more expensive.. AND AND, my parents wont buy me the G35 claiming that its after-market price will severly drop after the release of the G37 :'(!!!!! WHAT SHUD I DO!!

How were YOU planning on getting a G but in the same paragraph you state that YOUr PARENTS wont buy you one...

how about getting a job? Or just wait until you get older and can afford a car on your own...

You should be able to get a G35 for a great price now. It is still a very popular car. If your PARENTS dont understand that any car in todays market will lose value.... they need to stop smoking.

Look at the 93-96 Impala SS- this many years later and it is still a very desirable car.

Don't worry about resale, all cars depreciate. You should be able to get a GREAT deal on a G35 right now......I'm assuming you are talking about the sedan. If you do go for the G35 you will always regret it though, knowing that a "better" G37 is and was available at the time you bought it.

nope. and i don't think it's in Kuwait either. The G35 looks nicer and as you said cheaper so you might as well get the G35.

Agree with the other posters - the G37 gets you the same car with less torque and a bit more high-end HP. Get a good deal on the G35 and enjoy it.

Why would your parents buy you a G35/37 if you were planning to purchase the G35 for a long time?
