Umm what is your definition of slow?? For a V6 sedan, mine gets up with plenty power above 80. This isnt a 427 powered Z06 lol.

I think he's referring to his G's performance compared to a different make/model vehicle.

w2870612, i saw your original post on this and am still wondering what gear are you in when accelerating from 80mph?

What tune is he running?

Honestly, I find that hard to believe. A tuned 335 (with only a tune) will easily do 350-360 whp on the dyno, whereas you'd be lucky to be at 280-290 with your mods listed. That means he's an easy 60 hp over you min, at roughly the same weight, so he should pull easy unless he can't drive

Hmmm I don't know, when i ran with him it was late summer so that was with his old tune he was up stock i think 20-30 whp, I can keep up, but he's in front hahahaha. All i can smell is his damn exhaust from his test pipes and he kicks up rocks and chips my grill!!!!!

Also his power band is weird, He pulls much harder, but it's kinda in busts or something weird like that, while with us it's like constantly pulling, I don't know how to explain, but if you drive the G then a 335i you will see that our cars have wider power bands.

Umm but i know stock for stock we can beat 335i from a 60mph pull.

first gens (V35) were underpowered for its weight

The 3 does have a dip or two after shifts (if you've seen dyno graphs of their runs). He must have had a REALLY old piggyback. Now, they average 350-360 whp, so be careful.

Check my sig btw

Ya, the 3 ended up costing about 8k more than the G, but it also has more options than the G

Sport suspension including springs and dampeners
Upgraded audio (my g has the regular audio)
RFT tires
Park sensors
Foldng rear seats (sounds funny but they come in handy)
iPod interface (again, I have the regular audio)
Sunroof
All inclusive 4 years maintenance (parts and labor, zero out of pocket)

If you consider those things, the actual price differential becomes smaller than it may seem. Plus, you get an FI motor so it's easily tuneablr

Ok OK ok, well personally I think the 335 would/should beat you easily as others have mentioned.

As for the S550 he would destroy you any day, are you sure he even saw you trying to "race" him? Hell even the S500 would destroy us, especially at higher speeds.

I'm not sure if you're going about comparing your car in the right way, but that's just my personal opinion
