The ride is actually very good, since the springs fully settled and I had the car aligned (the rear toe was way after installing them). The ride is maybe just barely stiffer than stock, but so close that my wife didn't even notice that I installed them.

The ride was a little bouncy when I first installed then, but this has virtually gone away as the springs have settled. I think this mainly had to do with these being progressive rate springs. There is still a slight amount of bounce, but it is very comparable to the stock set-up. I definitely recommend these springs for anyone looking for a moderate drop, but not wanting to sacrifice ride quality.

FYI... If you've got a spring compressor tool, or can rent one, then the install is very easy. Rears are absolutely cake and can be done in about 30 minutes with just standard tools.

How will we ensure that we end up with the right springs?

Cuz those guys who ended up with the wrong springs specifically ordered the new ones (I believe).. but ended up with the older ones :S

The part numbers are different, so make sure to check the box when you get it... or just get them from Rick @ Riverside.

I think the issue back then was that the springs for the second gen cars hadn't been fully released or shipped yet, so people were just selling the 1st gen springs for the 2nd gen cars. If I remember correctly, Rick actually didn't get his first shipment of the NF210's for our cars until around December / January '09. H&R actually still uses the same springs for both 1st and 2nd gen cars.

FYI, the correct Tanabe part number for the NF210 springs are listed below:

'03 - '06 G35 (V35) Sedan - Part # TNF082
'07+ G35 / G37 (V36) Sedan - Part # TNF130 (same part number for the G37 coupe)
