I cant stop!!

No this is a brake system related post...

I CANT STOP SPENDING MONEY ON THE G!! I have had a bad case of the mod bug and Im buying everything in sight.

Just order the Takeda Intake and the GT Spec strut bar. The car is going to be at the body shop late next week to get the TK spoiler installed and the nismo front lip fitted. I am taking the strut bar to the powdercoater as soon as I get it....going to make it all brushed aluminum finish.

I think ive worked the mod bug out of my system for now...

Believe me, I would love to but I have made up my mind and will only go with coilvers (if they ever come out for the AWD). Although, i have the eibach springs currently opened on my browser, just waiting for me to purchase. As much as I want to get the Eibachs, I just cant seem to let myself sacrifice the comfort for looks.

Eibachs ride pretty much like stock and the drop is just perfect.

im in the same boat. however, the 4 inch clearance after eibach drop is holding me back.

^ with an X, that will be your reality no matter what you drop with. the area under the front assembly sits low from stock (that's why our cars are a bit more jacked than the base model). Anything lower than eibach on an X, in my opinion, is asking for front end repairs.

I have the dual CAI and Fast Intentions exhaust on my list, but I am afraid to pull the trigger... the window tint and clear bra already put a hole in the mod-fund

I say just wait for the coilovers because the Eibachs sags in the rear end which makes the front higher then the rear, so the car doesnt look as balance.

The problem with waiting on Coilovers for the X's is like... waiting for the cows to come home... :S

Sways would really be your best bet, but i do realize there may not be one available for the X's yet. Does the GT-Spec rear braces fit though? Those work as faux sways, or rather existing sway reinforcements.

The Eibach's should also help, but not likely to be as much as the above. I can't get an answer out of Eibach on spring rates, so i'll just guess, that being a progressive spring already makes it slightly stiffer than the OEM's but gets moreso as load ramps up. You may get a bit of lean to start but will taper off and level out quickly.

I understand the mod bug. Let's see:

Jan - Stillen HFC's and UR pulley, plus installation
May - Had to replace an O2 sensor
June - 19" Rims and Tires, Front lip
July - 370Z springs, plus installation
Aug - D2S 6000K's, T10 parking lights. Also had my exhaust wrapped.

It's been an expensive year so far.
