So i just go this voice mail from the dealership....

Hi, This message is for XXXXXXX, This is Shana Rogers at Nelly infinity. Carson asked me to give you a call regarding your vehicle. My understanding so far is that you recently had your vehicle at another Infiniti dealership in Alabama and they replaced your timing chain. I am not really sure the exact repairs performed, but the technician here, feels like the Idle problem that you are having is 99% related to the repair that was recently performed. so this kind of puts us in the sticky situation. I had Carson call you to give you the options on whether you want to take it back to the dealership in Montgomery (if that is feasible for you to do) or if you wanted to us to proceed with the diagnosis and repair. If we proceed with it and it is something that was called by the other dealership, then 9 times out of 10 the customer is responsible for repairs because I'm not likely to get the other dealership to pay for it. I will call them, and ask them as part of my due diligence, but in a lot of cases they say "Well bring the car back to us and we'll fix it" And that puts a customer in a bad position. Let me know how you want us to proceed, or if taking it back to the other dealership would even be an option for you. You can call me. I will be leaving here momentarily, but I'll be back tomorrow morning at 7 AM. We appreciate you. Thank you so much bye.

so...my options are to drive the car 3 hours back to the other dealership or basically pay the diagnosis fee ($120) and from the sounds of it...maybe even get stuck paying for the repairs!

this just doesn't sound right!!! any help???

yes you got to becarefull with dealerships and warranty of how they word things. I am fighting infiniti for a refund that was suppose to be covered but got stuck with a $530 bill. Do not sign anything or they will make you pay up even if the repairs are covered. they are soooo sneaky its unreal.
