"With that said I don't think they will total my car because it's worth about k30 from what I have heard."
Again, sorry for the negativity, but are you saying your car is worth 30 thousand dollars? Assuming that's an '08, I'm a bit confused. Unless you're saying you insured the mods as well...
Anyways, good luck.

I know I do. If anything major happens to the vehicle, to write it off, my insurance replaces the car with the newest model with equivalent options.
That could be why they want to fix it and are over evaluating it...so they can get out of buying him a 2010.

I select suggested retail value. And yes when my brother got into an accident with his truck, it wasn't his fault and his car ended up totaled. So the insurance company paid for everything he had added to the car like the stereo, seats, even the tires since they were offroading tires.

if you get paid from the car that hit you, then they have to pay for everything, mods & all, if you get paid from your own company, then aside from deducting your deductible they could also refuse to pay for additional mods unless you added a Ryder to your policy for these mods... either way that car is not totaled though, 2 new quarter panels & a rear body panel, tailights & a lid... bumper cover etc, probably not much more than 12k if that in damages, totaled needs to see at least 70% value in damages depending on the insurance co...
