Am i crazy??? Should I sell
Ok here is what I am thinking, thanks in advance for opinions.
I am seriously weighing the option of selling my 2008 G35 w/ 57500 miles on it for a 2008 Porsche Cayman w/ 33300 miles on it.
Am i crazy?? I paid $35000 for the G35, do you think I will be able to get back 22,000 dollars or so if I private sale it?? Since it is in great condition??
Urgh... am i crazy?
Is the porsche a worthwhile car to trade to?

Any car is a tough sale right now. I've had my 08 G35 journey for sale for some time now. 38k miles and in new condition. I got a private offer of $22k, and an offer from the dealer (outright buy) $21k.
I'm even with my loan, and If I got another loan, the interest would be higher than what I'm paying now so I'll just keep the car.
Check comparable cars. An 08 BMW 328i can be had for under $20k, 08 lexus 250is are going for low $20's.
I've been watching these cars for months now, and all are in the 30k mile range.

I've never been one to condone financing a 3yr old car for any length of time.
You bought your car new, you know the maintenance history, and you probably have a decent interest rate on it.
The cayman isn't really much of an upgrade.
You gain some handling and like .8 in the 1/4 mile.
You lose the usable back seat and the daily driveabilty of the G.
