ok so i just tried this, mind you my car has been parked for about 3 hours. I went and started the car, went from park to reverse and did not hear any air hissing noise. Only thing i could think of is could it be your A/C maybe? Hope this helps. BTW im in an 08 RWD if that makes a difference.

Dealer said this is normal..however, there's a hissing sound as the rpm goes up and drops down while the car is parked. Apparently there's a ECM update for it. Waiting to get the car back monday

I took my car in a couple months ago to get some work done and they had done an ECM update to mine, updated the brakes apparently there was a TSB on them and also did something else under warrenty.

Does it hiss when you switch from D to DS or M mode as well?
