lmao no. Its been dead for about 2 months now and just been rocking my valet key till I buy a new one and get it programmed.

Not sure I agree .... water will easily get in through the key opening.

^+1 . Corrosion happens over time so I would still take it apart and put the PCBA into a container of uncooked rice to draw out any remaining moisture. They even say rinse it out with distilled water if the ikey went into salt water before drying in rice.
