CF wrap interior trim

sorry for pic quality...(it is a Droid X, the POS Edition)

this stuff is cool, i ordered a bunch on ebay for like $30 and with some 3m adhesive i put it on the silver trim. its like carbon fiber cloth, very nice. the only bad thing is i ordered black instead of teh regular CF look

and the hardest piece to extract from the car (forgot to take finished pic):

I havent done the radio area yet, but i'll probly do it tomorrow

helpful stuff for removing panels, etc :

https://g35driver.com/forums/v36-diy...l-removal.html

^ trim unscrews from the back of the door panel

^ because you have to take out the glove box to snap out the trim there

Is it easier to wrap than 3M dinoc & is it removable?

^dunno, ive never tried dinoc, and it probably depends what you use to glue it on...im using 3M 77 spray adhesive... i would assume it would come off with some 3M adhesive remover?

I tried different CF wrap brands and I gotta say that 3M WAS a lot easier to apply. The other brand (not sure what it was) was harder to straighten out/ remove the bubbles compared the 3M.

BTW the center radio is pretty easy to do, but the small buttons keeps pushing the wrap out unless its glued down good!

Yea, it comes with adhesive on the back. It's not that strong when you first apply the 3m to a surface, but once you put pressure on it and heat it, it sticks on really well.

looking good. i think you should do the center console. That would make it soo much better and you'll love it too.

When that is all done, that will look awesome. Def goes better with the black interior. I actually like the washi but the CF looks a couple of notches better.
