Did you bother pricing it with Scottsdale (Courtney) ?

Scottsdale recently quoted right at $1371 for a 4yr/48k on an '08 G37 coupe, so I doubt a sedan would have been much different.

I know what's done is done, but I thought you were seeking the lowest price on that warranty.
When I bought mine last Nov, they got me for $1499 $0 deductible. Car had 30,935 mile at time of purchase. Elite Warranty with my CPO warranty expires 05/22/2015 or 120,000 miles.
Purchased from Jim Coleman Infiniti Bethesda Maryland

I believe that is reference to the old Infiniti Communicator System.
I have no idea, it says "any and all" so I don't know. You could be correct, guess when my radio or navi fails we'll find out.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but...

I recently bought a pre-owned 2007 G35x from a Toyota dealer. They sold me an extended warranty (just basic) since the G35x was out of warranty. Did I get ripped off?

It is a 3 year/36000 mile plan I think. Is this some aftermarket warranty package they sold me or will I be able to get warranty work done at an Infiniti dealer?!

We don't know if you got ripped off unless you tell us how much you paid for the warranty

Either way, getting the official Infiniti Elite Care plan is better than any third party warranty. It is usually a pain in the *** to get warranty work paid for with a third party plan. With the Infiniti plan, its just covered.

^^ +1 What he said!

But another take on it, WHY LOOK BACK?

What's done is done. Life's just too short; just move on.

Its probably refundable. I'd cancel it and buy the OEM one from Courtney.

I just looked it up on my documents:

3 years/36000 miles - $2495 so about $800 a year.

That is a LOT for an aftermarket warranty.

How many miles are on the car?

You could probably get OEM coverage for about the same price or less.

yeah, ok. I'll buy that. If it's do-able, then I'd agree the Elite warranty is undoubtedly superior and most likely cheaper for like coverage.

I got a quote from Courtney and it is a LOT cheaper for Infiniti OEM warranty! Wow. I am calling the Toyota dealer and canceling my aftermarket warranty.

Hopefully it is refundable and I will get a check to buy the OEM Infiniti one. It will save me $1000!

My '08 G35x is at 35K miles. The original warranty expires in September, but I am getting the Infiniti Elite extended warranty right before the car hits 40k miles, sometime in April/May. I was quoted by the dealer a 36mo/48k @ 2028, 48mo/48k @ 2271, and a 48mo/60k @ 2538. I was considering the 48/60k since I drive from Central NJ to Bristol, PA at least 4x a week. The dealer did say the prices ARE negotiable, so I'm wondering if the 48/60k @ 2200 would be a good deal.

I'd recommend it for the peace of mind, and to know that, depending on your relationship with the dealer, they will go above and beyond to cater to your needs, as their customer. I've had BMWs and Subarus, I think my next car will be another Infiniti (unless they shaft me with a bad repair)

I am pretty sure those prices can and will be soundly beaten by Courtney at Scottsdale Infiniti. You can either call her or get a quote from their website. THEN, when you got their quote , you can ask your own dealer to negotiate. Sometimes they will match it, but often not. If they can at least match it, you can often get a higher deductible plan (for even less$$) and have them waive the deductible whenever you service your car at their dealership.
