Squeeking when turning left

I have a 2008 G35x Sedan with a little over 100,000km's on it. I've had the car for almost 3 weeks now and just noticed last week that the car has started making a metal on metal squeek when turning left slightly or severely and now occasionally makes the same noise when driving straight. Applying the brake does not seem to stop the noise and it's more noticeable when not applying the gas, likely because there is less engine noise. The rotors are brand new OEM infinti's and the pads have 70-75% life remaining. The front driver side rotor has a copperish tinge near the edge that the other 3 do not have. I plan on taking it back to the dealership I purchased from as it's still under warranty, I just need to make the time as it's in another city. Similar threads on the forums only talk about the steering column making noise or metal thumping. I'm suspect that it's dirt inbetween the rotor/pad, but wondering if the caliper is not fully releasing. Nothing seems off about the drive quality, it just sounds like I'm driving a rust bucket =(

Thanks, for you help and suggestions.

Wheel bearings might also cause that and since it's an X, you can consider CV joints too, but any of those would have to be pretty bad to fit your description. Definitely let the dealership have at it if you're still covered though, and post back with what the cause turns out to be. Hopefully, it's nothing serious.

Lube the swaybar bushings, see if that helps. I had that problem a while back, solved by lube.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I'm taking it in this Friday, hopefully it's nothing major, but better now while it's free parts/labour!

I think mike might be right going by what iv seen here in the past, dried out sway bushings seem to be common after a while and cause squeaking sounds

i have the same problem! Every time my wheel is slightly turned right it makes this weird flapping noise? it comes and goes. Thought it was cv joint but the mechanic said it wasn't. Haven't heard the noise for a while now tho.

Thankfully it was something simple like I suspected. The rotor dust shield was scraping against the plate. No more squeek ^_^
