Angry Great start to the morning, being run off the road

As I was slowing down to turn into my work, someone ran me off the road this morning and I destroyed one of my new rims, I need to find pictures of the damage on the back but i have a picture of the rim. that ***hole tried to speed through two lights but got stopped by oncoming police that saw the hole thing.

That sucks, but you can always get the wheel repaired. Many people from NJ ship their rims to rimpro in tewksbury, MA. From the reviews I've read, they make your rim look better than OEM.

They can repair any rim. They will straighten it out and refinish it for you. They also gaurantee their work. They won't repair it if it is deemed unsafe. Maybe you should ask them. The damage looks pretty severe. Sorry for your loss. At least your insurance can pay for it or you can go after the driver.

Wow your rims are very nice and also very expensive =)

Thank you, right now they are being taken off and examined by my mechanic who fixed Holman Infiniti's mess up with the transmission that was blown. He saying right now they aren't deemed safe and is going to look into it for me.

Thank you, I got them from Eric at getyourwheels.com and he was great on helping pick out the wheels and pricing them fair for me to afford them.

yea he didn't have insurance but my insurance covered the damage to the car, not the rim but Eric at getyourwheels.com has been awesome and helped me get a replacement. If anyone is looking to buy rims go there he has seriously been amazing

No insurance? Ran someone off the road? Tried to blow two red lights?

Suspend his license for six months. A*shole needs to learn a lesson. Sorry to hear about your loss, man.

I've always wondered, if you get into a situation with people like this, can you go after them in court for your deductible and/or other out of pocket expenses? I hope the cops towed his car and did not let him drive away, and don't let him pick it back up without proof of insurance.

I kind of doubt it...unless you have absolute proof they did it (e.g. a police report, video footage, etc.), it probably wouldn't fly.
