and it looks like it was just the belt, its saying it links up with the fan and alternator

Nope, it does NOT say alternator was replaced; just the belt and the tensioner assembly.

'08 G35X sedan. 43k. Absolutely perfect, the only tiny issue was paint peel on the steering wheel that the dealer replaced under warranty at 47 months. The best car I have owned by far. Planning on keeping it 20-years. My Lexus SUV is 14 1/2 years old, plan on keeping it another 5 1/2 years then taking my wife's G in 2018 and keeping it myself for the next ten years.
