Crashed my G35, need advice on what to do with it
I damaged my G35. Slid on ice and hit the front and rear quarter panels on the passenger side. Apart from body damage, headlight housing and wiper fluid reservoir is cracked, and the trailing arm in the rear is bent causing misalignment. A body shop quoted me at $10,000 for the repair and said it would take 8 weeks to fix. They said it's a 'difficult car to fix'. I'm thinking about selling it as-is since the engine and transmission are still perfect, as well as the interior. I want to know what you guys think I should do with it.
Get a second quote, call all the new car dealerships in town and ask who THEY recommend for body work and compile a list, that will tell you who does the best work in town usually.
There's no such thing as a "hard to fix" car, sounds like they're blowing smoke up your ***. Body work is body work is body work.

Definitely not a part-out. I should note that I was an idiot and removed the trailing arm myself and I couldn't get it back on. Looking underneath though that did seem like the only chassis component that failed. Everything else matches up with the other side. I'll post pictures in a reply.
Some pictures. Note the rear wheel looks that bad because of two reasons: I was an idiot and I removed the bent trailing arm and couldn't get it back on, and my driveway is sloped which is why the wheel is resting in that position. When I was underneath I matched the chassis components on both sides and everything matched up fine, only the trailing arm was bent. Doors, hood, and trunk still open.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Your car is most likely going to be totaled by the insurance company. Casual visual inspections are limited at best, this type of collision usually causes a ton of damage the untrained eye will not spot. Get a second inspection from a reputable source and check with insurance on where they will go from there.
