Tire size will it fit
Tire size will it fit
So I’m looking to change all 4 tires and I’m looking to get a little more grip and a little lower profile. So I have a stock 2008 Infiniti G35 with the stock 17 in aluminum rims that standard tire size is 225/50/17. What is the widest tire I can put on that rim and can I go from a 50 to a 40 or 45 height. I was looking at some Bridgestone 235/45/17.
My summer set up is a very modest 245/45/18 square, that has the same diameter, as the stockers, which are actually 225/55/17. Wheels are OZ ultraleggera's in 18x8 ET is 48 ( offset) very nice looking wheels with W rated all season Kuhmo's tires. btw, the weight is almost identical to the stock heavy wheels. there are lots of folks with alot wider tires than these, so you have many options....
If you got it spend it , buy whatever you like but ....
If you live in a big city with millions of drivers bro reconsider low profile tires
More air , more comfort.
I hate it when my car takes unnecessary abuse and eats sh:t on sh:tty roads , so, like you I went wider, but slightly bigger than stock.
More AIR for potholes.
If you live in the suburbs buy whatever you like as long as they don't rub lol
