Okay so i have an 08 g35 and just a few days ago my car stopped turning on. The car wont go into accessory mode or anything, the doors dont lock or unlock using the key fob but the lights inside still respond, such as turning off when locking the car and turning on when unlocking the car. The headlights dont turn on but the brake lights still turn on when i apply pressure to the brake pedal. Im not sure if its the battery because i just got a new one last year. The car was running just fine thursday night, but when i got home i tried locking the car and didnt see the lights flash as usual. The steering wheel is clearly locked but when i try to wiggle it and start the car nothing happens. I’ll post a picture below to show what is displayed on the dashboard . See that light on your dash that says KEY, your car doesn't recognize your fob anymore.

Use your backup fob to start the car, something happened to the fob you're using.

Replace the battery in your fob, if that doesn't work hold it right up to the start button to see if that will work. Sometimes fobs just have a heart attack and die for no apparent reason, thus why you always have a second key or fob to start the car. in case you lose or break the one you normally use.
