Not the ones without wood. I just proved my point above.

isn't the whole G center console plastic? and if it's not, the tubular area that goes across the dash is way more plasticky than anything in the IS interior.

WHATEVER! who cares; im sure the next G unveiled in a couple hours will blow them both out of the water.
My G has no plastic in it. It has real alum center console, real alum trim across the dash. The older 03-04 G had a ton of plastic.

Ok now get back on topic!

Hmmm, an interior crafted out of a bullet of aluminum - I must have missed that option for '05, for the one I have has all cheep-hard plastic in it w/a token strip of aluminum across the dash and the center console.

I sure hope they put multi-way adjustable seats on the passenger side of the new G.

It always feels like you are going to slide out of the passenger seat. The seat cushion isn't angled back enough.

Come on guys? The current sedan is the Skyline V35. So his question is valid, isn't it?

And to be able to lower the passenger seat would be awesome. My friend feels like his head sticks out the sunroof (especially since I did the seat lowering mod to make the driver's seat even lower.)

The G35 is known internally as the V35-

Are we looking at a new platform here?
Alternatively, are we looking at a major upgrade of the existing platform?

Another example.
VWAG for example used the B5 designation to describe the Passat between 97-01-
In late 2001, they introduced a revised version of the platform labeled as a B5.5

logical. but... name one infiniti that doesn't use the engine as a model number. we all know about v35, and cpv35, z32, z33, r32, r33, r34 etc... but those numbers are not commonly used with the general customer. when you asked if there would be a g36, that would imply first, that it would be 'internally' referred to as a v36 (or some derivative), and then still it might not carry over to the model number (z33 = 350z). the only way the model number will change is that the engine displacement gets changed... do you know the engine displacement? if not, that question really can't be answered yet.
