Anyone not "wowed" with the new G35 Sedan?

????? I think Infiniti in the last few years has been nothing BUT original. IMO Infiniti has more bolder designs of their vehicles the last few years than any other manufacturer....ie G35, FX, M. I LOVE the look of the 07 Sedan.....does that make me a Lexus owner wannabee as you would suggest?? I hardly think so.

That said, I think it's funny that you're comparing the G's originality to a Lexus LS sedan, which is THE most unoriginal luxury car ever. Until the most recent model, they've done nothing but copy Mercedes' S class styling. To make matters worse, their copies are always 1 generation behind so the LS always looks dated when released.
The 07 LS still isn't all that original. It's a blend of S class styling w/ Lexus's "L-finese styling (which is really just Scion tc styling) with a Bangle butt grafted on.

The Sport model has several real nice features spec'd, such as:
- Available sport-styled front seats with thigh extensions and power torso and thigh bolsters
- Available sport-styled steering wheel and aluminum pedals
- Available 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 225/50R18 front and 245/45R18 rear tires (standard on Sport models)
- Available rear spoiler on Sport models (replaces chrome bar ?????)
- Unique front fascia and side sills on Sport models

I supose in a sense, they do get in the way, but when it comes down to it, the offer a sporty, race-car feel in a car without a true manual transmission. Many race cars i.e. F1 use paddle shifters.

Lets you keep both hands on the wheel when playing in the twisties
Motion is much more precise & reaction time is quicker.

my left foot goes into action like it has a mind of it's own.
One nice thing they did with the stick is switch the MM side.
You will now pull the stick towards yourself rather than pushing it away.
