windows roll down by themselves?
I had same problem
Had the exact same problem, I tried all suggestions above and they didn’t work. The driver side window motor had to be replaced, it’s cost 600$cad for the part, couldn’t find a used one.
That sounds like dealership prices. It shouldn't be more than $150 USD for the motor unless you are also paying for labor to have it installed. Even then $600 CAD sounds a bit high since it takes less than 1 hour to replace the window motor.
Quick Question
I haven’t tried your advice yet but will tomorrow… I was just curious as alot of people reference the key faab yet i ruined mine in the wash a long time ago, and so i dont use it. nor do i lock my car (shh!) and it happens at work or home or wherever… even though the broken faab is nowhere around could that still cause it do you think?

Window motor fuse does a lot more than just the windows. If it's a sedan you can roll the window up all the way then unplug the window motor harness, if it's a coupe you cannot because it has to drop to clear the sash every time the door opens.
Why don't you just replace the window motor though?
