2004 coupe has trouble starting

I got my cars fuel pump replaced about 3 weeks ago because it would start unless I cycled the key in the ignition a bunch of times and when I was driving it there was no power when I pushed on the gas peddle hard. My car was fine after I got it replaced for a few days and now it’s having trouble starting again but when it turns on it drives perfectly fine. Is it possible that the new fuel pump could be faulty, or could there be another issue with it?

Z1 Motorsports makes a sandwich adapter for the passenger side fuel damper so you can test for fuel pressure with a gauge (or simply install a permanent gauge onto it).

I recommend just ordering it with the schrader valve and using an external fuel gauge for testing (or drill/tap out the other spot where they pilot drill for more accessories and using BOTH). This way you also will have a way to bleed off fuel line pressure in the future for doing other repairs without needing to pull the fuel pump relay and start/stall the engine.
