I got on it on the interstate and my car started smoking bad and when I got home there was oil in the driver side wheel and all underneath the car. What could have happened? Ive attached 3 pictures
Yep, lots of things it COULD be. Get the car up on jackstands and find out where it's leaking. Fortunately it should be pretty obvious but it's probably not even be engine oil since it looks pretty PINK in that picture, probably transmission fluid.
I’ll have it checked out by my mechanic considering I don’t know much about how to fix cars but I will check the fluid in that tomorrow. I’ll keep ya updated and I appreciate you replying back!
Any votes for a crankcase pressure issue blowing the dipstick (and some oil) out? I don't -think- it's ATF; I do see some pink-ish in the pictures but I think it's the lighting.
It would have to be a completely cracked chunk of a piston ring to push that much oil out of the dipstick, the thought did cross my mind but you would have a dead cylinder in minutes and know something else was going on.
