the thing is, im look at my mods in this order: 1. intake, 2. plenum spacer+mrev2, 3. exhaust, 4. headers, 5. sway bars, and after that i dont know. im planning to keep my car NA until i run out of mods to add, then i plan on going FI. so i guess it would be better to wait until i went FI for the intake manifold?

they lost power with it??? thats hard to believe, being that it opens up that whole section where the plenums use to be.

is the reason the intake is showing power loss because of the fact that there is too much air going in therefor too much back pressure for the stock exhaust. Just a thought

I haven't seen any boosted cars loose power with the ssv manifold - unless they were trying to drive untuned. I have seen every single NA motor loose power with this manifold though, regardless of a tune or not.

Bad idea unless you have cams and the cam timing to match them. Even if you do get the cams, ITB's are typically high RPM power producers, not really where you want it on a street car. If you are making a drag G with a 5K stall, they would work pretty well.

No air filters or anything? Wouldn't the thing only suck in hot air since it has no outside air source?

It's a race only setup. Typically used with a hood cowl or intake.
