hey there i recently got HKS exhaust installed on my g35 coupe. well, the exhaust rattles. the installer told me to go buy some HEADER WRAP, and that should fix the problem. i was wondering where can i get this, and any particular brand that you guys know of??? sorry i am new to these things so i really dont know what other questions to ask. thanks for you time....help please!!!

 

if your talking about the HKS HI power dual TI-tip.. that is weird cause i never had any problem with mine.. got it install an done no rattle r what so ever.. hopefully someone with the same problem can chime

I had a rattle and it turned out to be a loose O2 sensor on my passenger side header.

 

I'd seriously NOT put header wrap on. It's known to severly shortern the life of the header by trapping moisture. Plus that's not a solution anyway

Why would header wrap stop a rattle anyways? That was the only reason I mentioned the O2 sensor.

 

Find The Rattle And Fix It, Dont Wrap It In Hopes To Fix It, You Spent All That Money For A Good Exhaust, Why Half A$$ It Now
