It's my understanding that the TB opens 100% until around 6200rpms and then it starts to close to 80%. I think a few of the tuners have already shown that opening the throttle completely really doesn't help power, but they open it to 100% regardless. The OEM TB is already fairly large and I think Q45tech did a flow bench test on it and saw that it can easily support somewhere over 400whp without restriction. He's also the same one that flowbenched the OEM airbox.

No, it's the other way around. The throttle body starts to close right around peak HP. It doesn't close, but it closes by roughly 20%.

Technically, "Not all" includes any positive number smaller than 100.0 per cent.

To be honest, his approach is probably better than alot of intake makers that offer stuff for the G. If he publishes real data, he'd be ahead of most makers here.

Yikes!

Im sorry for going a little off topic but i have to defend myself a bit :

You dont even know me or what i built!

Check this out:

This was a run on street tires with just 220whp and 156tq.

I uploadedthis video just cause of how cool it sounds hitting the rev limit in second, and just hitting the cut off almost every gear lol. It was my first run ever in that car.

My best ever though on REAL street tires, not drag radials was 12.70@111 on that whp 220.

@ 235whp and 161tq which were my final numbers i was expecting 11.9@11X. Never hit it though becasue i always had unlucky technical difficulties which screwed me up on slicks.

This was the car i sold to get my G'.

O yea this was all BUILT by ME!

What my idea of using the stock Z-arm and his Filter/Stack at the end of it?

Only a dyno can tell the truth, and some runs at the race track.

G tube/Z tube no matter. One has a resonator for sound deadening and the Z unit doesn't. Nice Honda though. Love the color too.

Hmmm... So it doesnt play a factor in power?? Just sound? Has there ever been any proof that the resonator plays/doesnt play a part in power?

And thanks! Its BMW z4 Urban Green from the first year the new Z4s came out!

This is the website. They beat out alot of filters in thier testing on the honda scene.

Its only 100 bucks for the filter, coupler, and Velocity stack. With a adapter to the MAF box this would come out cheaper than the Stillen intake.

Where can i get it an adapter that comes with the Injen intake? SO i can fit the coupler around it.

psssst *whisper* this isnt a Honda.

For the idea you are interested in get Stillen.

Otherwise, do your home-made job and meet me at the track so we can put the "it's the best" comments to bed.

dyno's have shown no difference within the error of the dyno between the gtube and ztube

Wouldn't he have to have all the same modifications you have so far?
