So.....when should started annoying the guy when I don't see my Y-pipe

 

I called today bitchin.....what the hell????
They said they got tied up last week but that it shipped this Monday 9/13.
My cell phone lost signal berfore I could get tracking #.
????

It is UPS ground, but I'm 35 minutes away from the shop. Quality of the welds is great but attention to detail inside the collectors is crappy. But for $190 it is awesome. I will do some dremeling before putting it on.

Here goes. Welds on the outside are good, but i'm not sure about the gap between flange and the pipe itself. In some places it is not flush with flange.Maybe I'm a perfectionist but I will polish it at least.

What reducer pipe are you using
FLO-R3025 - 3 in. inside diameter inlet, 2 1/2 in. outside diameter outlet, -

MOTOP -

Did you install the Y pipe yet? Just wondering what think about it after its installed (e.g. deeper exhaust note, more like the Coupe? more power? etc.) As you might have seen, I decided to get the Coupe midpipe for now; it's on its way and I should have installed next week. If I don't hear/feel the results I'm looking for with the Coupe midpipe, I may get the OBX Y pipe from TD as well, but I did want to know what the Y pipe is like on a Sedan w/ stock exhaust. Thanks.

I haven't done it yet. I'm shopping for cutom midpipe now.
Once I have it I will try to port all of the collectors and than install it.

Thanks for the reply, MOTOP. I should have my Coupe midpipe Mon. and will try to get installed Mon. or Tues, and then I'll post my impressions (of the midpipe alone; no Y pipe) on my "Coupe Midpipe on G35 Sedan" thread.

btw -- seems as if you might be the only one to receive the Y pipe from TD...now that's odd???? ;-)
