Re: $190 Y-pipe group buy!!
i cant really comment on the real fujitsubo or the other one being sold on here for $315 but i have talked to 3 people that have this y pipe and they said its constructed very well and its made of all 304 stainless steel...it bolts right up to the stock setup which means you can either just keep it with yer stock setup or use it with a aftrmarket ypipe back exhaust...but the size of this y pipe is the exact same size as the fujitsubo which means its bigger than stock...so you will get more hp out of it if you buy a aftermarket y pipe back exhaust but from the people that have bought this to keep with there stock setup they said its still nice cause they can feel the car pull a lil harder and the sound is deeper of the stock exhaust...and also just so everyone knows this does have a lifetime warranty so if anything goes wrong...rusting...welds crack..doesnt fit..whatever it is you can send it right back to get a new one...this is something more companys dont do...thanks guys

Re: $190 Y-pipe group buy!!
This will fit all G's and all Z's, they all use the same oem Y-pipe. As noted it however does NOT output into a oem pipe diameter. Yes it will bolt up,...........BUT! going from a 76.3mm pipe diameter to 65mm will create a 1/4" high ringed wall that will reduce flow and the gain's that were the purpose of spending a dime in the first place. And to those that try and say the issue doesn't matter. If you study flow law's and how to make a good exaust system, you wouldn't be caught dead doing such a thing. Name me one exhaust company that would bring out a exhaust system with any kind of lip in the flow path, none.
Yes it will make power over the oem Y-pipe even if you do bolt up to your oem system downstream, but again you bought the part to make power. It is sooooooooooo easy to get around the issue, please throw away your silly notion's that it's against your religion to modify things. For all of $20 all you do is buy this transistion tube http://store.summitracing.com/produc...earchtype=ecat and you remove that flow blockage and smoothly blend 76.3mm to 65mm, muffler shop's do things like that all day long. And it's not a crime to do the right thing either.

Re: $190 Y-pipe group buy!!
Good point Jim. Having a proper reducer will negate the bad flow of the mismatched pipes and allow the added flow (and hp) unimpeded.
A must.

Re: $190 Y-pipe group buy!!
that was a good point! thanks for bringin that up in a understanding way....like me in my case...i am gonna use this pipe with my stock exhaust for like a month...but im planning on getting the rsr y pipe back exhaust very soon so its not a hugeeeee deal to me...but if you plan on staying absolutely stock i wouldnt get this...if you do plan on in the future buying a aftermarket exhaust i would jump on this!
