I'm still tripping on the amount of torque that I,m producing, the other day a GTO & SRT8 were really straining to catch up ... they did catch up . but oddly enough they both made excuses as to why it took so long,This was in no way a contest (controlled environment, professional drivers)
But I gotta tell you I might go back to stock the fumes r killing me , man there hard core , And I'm also smelling burning oil in the exhaust fumes which is freaking me out The oil smell started the day I installed , but could be attributed to high miles/ hard driving

So you pulled off the Art pipes?
Are you also getting that oil smell?

He's swapping out his straight pipe xyz module for the cat module. You can do the same as long as you don't have the TDX version.

you need to change... your catback exhaust. LOL

this is not limited to coupes.

the CAT accessory i am referring to is the MD XYZ (Y Pipe).
I have the MotorDyne Shockwave Catback.

Edit: Cheater Jayk!

Haha my bad, I thought you had a motordyne exhaust too. Jayk has the motordyne shockwave dual which allows him to use the motordyne xyz pipe. You can attach modules to the xyz pipe, such as the straight pipe or cat pipe. The module goes in between the xyz pipe and the dual resonator. So technically, he can run test pipes AND one cat at the end of the xyz pipe.

I know it sounds confusing lol. But that's one of the great things about MD exhausts, it's interchangeability gives you various combinations.

Aside from swapping out your ART pipes for HFC's, I really dont know what could do to lessen the fumes......

Is that a common issue with test pipes? the smell of fumes? Cuz that would be a big turn off, but I WANT THE POWER

Yup. All test pipes smell since there's nothing to filter it, just straight pipes. That's the price you pay for the extra power .

I really dont notice it that much, the only times I smell it is when I'm at a stop light with my windows down for 1+ min.
