^ I've got a tanabe medallion which sounds good, I just don't like how since I added the Resonator it doesn't have the sound i used to have on decel or downshift... The sound just stays flat monotone on decel now....

I know exactly what you mean, I have the hyper medallion and when I put the resonator on the xyz pipe it sounded like a fart can. So I took it off and put the strait pipe, need to pirchase some art pipes but no one has instock.

yea i put the tanabe muffler on my custom setup and i noticed the drop down in performance instantly compared to my single 4" setup. It's a very mellow sound almost too casual for me but its so sexy to look at lol

That's bizarre, who'd have the rear sections only for sale?

The exhaust my buddy wanted from Tony wasn't available at the time so Tony put him onto a guy who had the motordyne exhaust my buddy wanted.. He didn't like cause he thought it was to loud so he bought a different motordyne rear section.. My buddy bought the rear sections off the guy and Tony sold him the rest..

Bad news fellas. For those who have paid for their pipes and have been patiently waiting, expect ANOTHER 2-3 week delay before ART pipes (DE) are restocked. Ordered mine on MARCH 8th, and am still getting the run around (not Tony/Mariellas's fault, in fact she feels really bad about this god awful delay).

Anxiety is consuming me...must...think....of.....another mod before this 1.5-2 month wait kills me

Sorry for the delay guys. There was a double jam in production.

The production numbers between the HR's and the DE was accidentally flipped by the fabricator. That threw off the stock numbers. Too many HR's and not enough DE's.

Then a production tool broke once we got past that. We are upgrading the ART pipe stainless steel from ceramic coated 439 to polished Stainless 304.
Alloy 304 is a lot tougher to bend than 439 and one of the critical mandrel bending tools broke in the process. It has been replaced and production is back on but it was a big delay.

We are working on this 100% and we will keep you informed as soon as they come off the production line.

Thank you!
Motordyne Tony

Isn't ceramic coated stainless an upgrade from polished stainless?

No and no because ceramic coating is still an option.

439 is good but it has a lower nickle&chromium content and is quite a bit softer than stainless 304.
Overall, using all stainless 304 costs more to produce than the 439 version but the price will stay the same and we will still offer ceramic coating on top of the 304 as an option.
This way the best of both is still available.

^ Interesting. So what will the people that have prepaid and have been on back order list receive since the type of ART pipe wasn't specified nor was it an option at the time of purchase?
