It'll run lean on full throttle, keep it down below ~75% throttle till you get a tune.

Just wondering but, what if I gave it full throttle a couple times? Like went to the track before I had my tune?

Just got my ART pipes on with my TDX2.. all I've been hearing from people is "It sounds like a GTR!" I'm not going to lie.. it sounds like a straight piped GTR. Only thing I could compare it to.

Smell the car afterward. It will have that nice burnt smell and you will have some brass hanging out in the oil!

Will these be compatible with my stock y pipe and Magnaflow cat-back? Plan on an XYZ later on just don't know if I should get the XYZ first or the test pipes first.

Yes they will be compatible with your stock Y-Pipe. I'd go for test pipes first, makes the most difference in my opinion. If you're planning to do an XYZ with an extension, definitely go with test pipes, or ART pipes, first and then figure out which extension would be best suited for you.

I have ART pipes with MD's TDX2, and I wish I had the extension option.. it's so raspy above 4k

So after the ART pipes, by extension you mean resonator/HFC/straight pipe? For the XYZ?

As MadMaxx said, yes. The TDX2 system doesn't have that option. I took it to GMR, a mountain in Los Angeles, CA, and I was louder than this one Civic you'd define as a ricer. Although, everyone tells me it sounds better.. like a GTR. Rasp is rasp to me. To each his own I guess!

ART pipes arrived the other day. What's the deal with the driver's side bolt you have to cut down?? Can anyone explain to me how they went about doing this? Do I just need a set of bolt cutters or what?

Thanks!

First of all.. Congrats! You're going to hear a whole world of difference with them.
If you can use bolt cutters, do it. It's pretty small, my friend has a dremel so I just got him to cut it for me. I'm sure bolt cutters would work considering how small it is. I just got the whole thing cut off though, you won't really need it anymore cause it was for the heatshield iirc.
