Well at least it is hopefully solved. PPE was going to make me a different set of headers with no step.
so are you going to redyno now that this issue is hopefully resolved?

Next week at RT tuning for a true comparison. I did one at Hill's garage last week and compared it to my before dyno without cams/headers there was no lowend losses. The car put down 289 on their dyno my before was 257. Hills dyno is a dyno dynamics.

If I was 6mt I would of made close to 300 or more. The headers with cams held 280+hp from 6100-7200.

What was your setup before you installed these headers?

From the previous dyno, it looked like some mid range torque was your main power change. What have you noticed ?

What is this talk about the buckets on the HR motor w/ DLC coating. You both installed cams - how much of the gains you got were from cams and how much from the HR buckets?

that vid you posted a while back showing your rpms on the 125 shot concerned me a little. at about 4500 the hesitation you have coresponding with the power loss at that point, something is going on there. since you have moved your floor mat, does it still hesitate like that?

i should have some numbers soon, i do not have long tubes, but nismo headers and test pipes with bc stage 2 cams and a cutout after the xyz pipe. im also an auto, so results should be interesting.

i would think you should be about 425 hp on a 125 shot

No it's not there anymore, but I haven't sprayed it yet due to my tune being with the floor mat under the pedal.

I will make another vid when I go to RT next week. The dyno I did last week had me very rich in that range. Now that I can go fully WOT now my tune is off due to them trying to tune out my power loss.

Hopefully I will have good numbers and my lowend issue is solved.

My car with the DLC coated buckets revs faster to me due to less friction.

SDgenius my 3.7FD goes in tonight I can't wait to try it out.

your rpms are going to fly up soooo fast with spray and 3.7s, then on top of that if you get a higher stall converter it will be even worse. i would keep the stock 3.5s or 3.3s, whatever you are stock, around just in case it revs too fast for you

its good that the hesitation is gone, its weird that the throttle would do it like that because just below that 4500rpm spot, the needle was climbing like crazy. i would have thought that if it was the floor mat, it would have been uniform all the way though the rpm range

excited to see updated numbers, wish i would have known about the HR buckets before mine went together. o well. im mgrotel over on my350z

We have talked through PM on my350z I'm denchan350gt over there.

I know about the revs I only spray at the track on slicks or DR's. The 3.7 is for a more enjoyable/fun N/A experience with my power.

I might need not the higher stall if my lowend issue is resolved. I was pulling 1.8-1.9 60fts before my issue.

The 3.7 is the best for a N/A 5AT. F/I would be 3.3 or 3.5.

How is the car is it done completely? I wonder what you will put down since you are AT also.

i figured that was your name over there. your car sounds like a blast and hope you got your lower end figured out. cant wait to get mine done.

car is just about done, need to instal things like exh, intake, radiator, etc, and then break it in and get down to vegas to tune.
