Jus thought I'd share this with everyone. I've been trying to source out companies that were willing to put r&d into making us a bigger throttle body after the close shop of sg-Motorsports. Many haven't responded and those that have went on how much it would cost to do it even though they have a good change of making money on this with our big community.

I also already have a place that's going to make me a manifold to match up with the throttle body that will eventually be made

wouldnt it be easier to get a bigger drive by wire throttle body off another Nissan\Infiniti..... like a V8.

 

I live a few miles away from Skunk2 so let me know if they need someone for testing.

U mean like the Titan?? Which is a v8.........they house a similar throttle body which is the same size almost at stock.....it can be bored 2mm more bigger than ours but no where near big enough to 90mm which Sasha was running.

The titans had also a 14 unit production run of a ls6 drive by wire tb from a corvette which was converted to read Nissan.....was called project giant mouth throttle body. Was 90mm and gave the Titan guys good gains with no problems. Unfortunately this is no longer available and would have been great to try on our cars.

Believe me I've been searching for a solution to find a usable throttle body at a affordable cost. But by all means this is also why I posted this thread for others to share what I may have missed. I want to contribute to our community and I would like other members with the same passion to do so as well

 

I too have researched throttle bodies in depth. The stock manifold can only be ported so far.

Yup that's why I got manifold place sourced out already so wen that tb from skunk2 comes out I can have a manifold made to match that size.

I'm pretty sure skunk2 will have to make there own manifold though if they're gonna make a 90mm tb. So I'm jus sitting back and waiting to see wat happens now

 

Well lets hope Skunk is not like kinetix i had an email from kinetix around 8 months ago stating in the next 6 months they will be releasing a turbo kit but still nothing yet....

 

Wow that sucks. Well hopefully there turbo kit turns out better than the manifolds they made
