Hydrazine is Tony of Motordyne Engineering! Tony states that the 1/2 inch
spacer prevents the cover from being used.

I thought the 1/2" spacer will allow the engine cover to be used in the sedan but the 1/2" spacer causes the engine cover to rub the underside of the hood on the coupe. Tony has a sedan and maybe he will confirm this. I remember in the first group buy someone was able to fit the 1/2" spacer with the engine cover easily in their sedan.

Hi guys,
Yes, I do have the Sedan with the 1/2" spacer and I am using the engine cover.

I have seen that there is one small dot of contact between the engine cover and the hood insulation. It's not a problem, but at least you know it will be there.

What I recently tried is to take the rear two grommets of the plastic hood cover turn them upside down and also remove the metal standoffs. This will lower the cover a bit.

Tony

So what about the coupe? Will the 1/2 spacer fit under the hood with no contact or rubbing issues?

The engine cover doesn't fit with the 1/2" spacer on the coup.
