Stillen Exhaust Into Magnaflow

Stillen Exhaust Into Magnaflow
Well, Today I Was A My Exhaust Shop And Ma Guy Told Me That I Should Not Buy The Stillen Because It Costs Way To Much. He Says That There Piping And All Exhaust Parts Are Made Of Magnaflow, He Told Me That He Can Make Me The Same Stillen Exhaust Using The Magnaflow Piping And Metal For 800 Dollars. What Scares Me Is Not That I Dont Believe That Stillen Uses Magnaflow But That They Wont Be The Same In Sound And In Performance, If He Makes Me The Stillen And It Is Perfectly Identical Will I Get The Same Thing As The Regular Stillen, And Has Anyone Done This

I would steer away from the Stillien - I had it, and the Nismo, and Borla, and the HKs and Fuji - After Dyno's and sound - I made my own after the Stillen design - for much less.
In SoCal - you can get a Stillen mock up system - hand done - with MagnaFlow's for about $600. 2.5" to 3" crush bent - no problem. The advantage of mandrel bent in FAR overrated.
Performance-wise - equal. All the systems above performed identically - within 2HP of each other on my 05-AT Coupe.
Sound-wise - much better hand built with magna flows. ZERO - and I MEAN ZERO droning - and 100% awesome sound. If your in the SoCal area - we could meet and give ya a listen - pm me...
Also - the Borla resonators from their true-dual kit are the best out there and available ala carte..
